Cooling That Goes Where You Need It
The ThermApparel RallyWrap is a flexible body cooling wrap that puts cooling exactly where you need it — around your torso, lower back, legs, or worn cross-body. If Australian summers leave you managing heat sensitivity from MS, lupus, fibromyalgia, POTS or menopause, or you simply overheat at work, on the sideline or at events, the RallyWrap delivers hours of consistent, dry cooling you control.
Unlike ice vests and evaporative cooling gear, the RallyWrap uses non-toxic PCM (Phase Change Material) cooling packs that stay completely dry, perform in humid Queensland heat and dry outback heat alike, and recharge in as little as 20 minutes.
Key FeaturesWhy the RallyWrap Works Better
- Easy on, easy off — no straps or buckles. The velcro closure fastens anywhere along the wrap, so it goes on in seconds. Ideal for wheelchair users and anyone with limited dexterity.
- Cooling where you need it — wrap it around your torso, across your back, around your legs or cross-body. Unlike a fixed cooling vest, you decide where the cooling goes.
- 3–4 hours per charge — included ExtendedCool PCM packs deliver steady cooling, depending on conditions and activity.
- Completely dry — PCM packs don't sweat or condensate like ice, and there's no soaking required like evaporative vests.
- Works in any climate — evaporative cooling fails in humidity; PCM performs in Darwin humidity and Adelaide dry heat equally.
- Safe against the body — packs freeze at 21°C, so there's none of the skin-burn risk of ice packs.
- Fast recharge, reusable for years — 20–30 min in ice water, 40–60 min in a freezer, ~60 min in a fridge. Thousands of recharges over roughly 3 years.
- Comfortable for every body — 4-way stretch Breathoprene and spandex with lightweight, articulated cooling packs. Fits natural waists 63–132 cm.

How it works: think of the RallyWrap as a heat exchanger for your body. The PCM packs sit against areas where blood vessels run close to the skin. As blood passes those cooled zones, heat transfers into the packs — and your circulation carries that cooled blood through your whole body, lowering how hot you feel from the inside out.
Which RallyWrap Do I Need?
Both sizes are the same garment — the number refers to how many cooling packs are included. Measure your natural waist (below the rib cage, above the belly button), against skin, with the tape level. Between sizes? Size up. If you'd wear an XL tee or larger, choose the RallyWrap 8 so the cooling wraps your full torso.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the RallyWrap better than an ice vest?
For most people, yes. Ice is heavy, rigid, too cold for direct skin contact and drips as it melts. The RallyWrap's PCM packs are lightweight, flexible, completely dry, and cool at a comfortable 21°C — so you can wear it for hours, not minutes.
Does it work in humid weather?
Yes. Unlike evaporative cooling vests, which rely on dry air to work, PCM cooling performs in any climate — from tropical humidity to dry inland heat.
How long does the cooling last, and how do I recharge it?
Each set of ExtendedCool packs gives around 3–4 hours of cooling depending on temperature and activity. Recharge in ice water (20–30 min), the freezer (40–60 min) or the fridge (about 60 min). For all-day cooling, add a second set of packs and rotate.
Can I wear the RallyWrap under my clothes?
It's designed to be worn over clothing so you can reposition it easily. If you want a fully concealed option, look at the ThermApparel UnderCool cooling vest instead.
Will it stay in place while I'm active?
It stays secure for everyday movement and seated use. For high-movement activity, secure it under a layer or belt — or choose a strapped cooling vest.
Can NDIS funding cover a cooling wrap?
Depending on your plan and goals, cooling garments may be considered assistive equipment. Speak with your plan manager or support coordinator, or see our NDIS wellness products guide.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes — Shipping Australia-wide from Australian stock, with local customer support.
The RallyWrap is a comfort and body-cooling product. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. If you have a medical condition affected by heat, speak with your healthcare professional.
