While we are not a registered NDIS provider, many self-managed and plan-managed participants may still be able to buy suitable products from us and submit a claim using a tax invoice.
Can I buy from MeWellness using NDIS funding?
In many cases, yes — if your funding is self-managed or plan-managed, and the product is relevant to your disability-related needs and fits within your NDIS plan.
Self-Managed
If you self-manage your NDIS funding, you can often buy supports from both registered and unregistered providers, provided the item is suitable for your needs and plan.
Plan-Managed
If your plan is plan-managed, you may also be able to buy from unregistered providers like MeWellness, depending on your plan manager’s requirements and approval process.
NDIA-Managed
If your plan is NDIA-managed, you generally need to purchase through a registered NDIS provider. In most cases, this means you would not be able to buy from MeWellness directly using NDIA-managed funds.
Important eligibility note
Not every product is automatically claimable under the NDIS. A product generally needs to be:
- related to your disability support needs
- aligned with your NDIS plan goals and budgets
- considered value for money
- reasonable and necessary for your circumstances
